How they use Cloudflare
Application performance is a concern with global users, time spent on cold starts slows down performance. Workers are deployed globally and execute with zero cold starts improving performance for BoxHero’s global users.
The Developer Platform is used in a variety of ways.
- Workers rewrites the landing pages and blog when they implement domain restructure.
- Customized invoices are built in HTML and then converted to a PDF with Browser Rendering, and stored in R2. This allows designs to easily be customized and updated.
- Calculating API latency of endpoints with Workers Analytics Engine by collecting the Herokou logs and then querying the endpoints.
- The video walkthroughs in the user guides are stored and delivered via Cloudflare Stream.
They are looking to expand usage to include Durable Objects and Workers KV to create the ability for users to scan a QR code.
