Capawesome is an open-source organization offering enterprise-grade solutions and services for teams developing cross-platform applications with Capacitor. They provide over 40 high-quality Capacitor plugins, with more than 1,000,000 downloads each month. In addition, they operate Capawesome Cloud, a platform that enables developers to deploy live updates, also known as Over-the-Air (OTA) updates or hot code push, to Capacitor apps. This allows you to update your Capacitor app in real-time without pushing to the app stores. Thanks to its CLI, Capawesome Cloud is compatible with all major CI/CD platforms, such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps.

The organization is actively engaged with the developer community, with a strong presence on GitHub and X (formerly Twitter). They also offer consulting services to assist businesses with mobile app development, custom Capacitor plugin creation, code quality improvement, and CI/CD pipeline setup.

How they use Cloudflare
Using the Hono framework, they built an API for Cloudflare Workers which communicates with services like D1, R2 and Workers KV. The front-end is built with Angular and deployed to Cloudflare Pages, which allows them to use preview deployments.

Capawesome implemented Cloudflare’s R2 cloud storage solution for storing app updates and Cloudflare D1 for managing account details, IDs, and handling detailed updates.
